Information we collect
We collect only what we need to respond to you and to run the services you have engaged us for.
- Information you give us. Your name, practice or company name, email address, telephone number, the service you are interested in, and anything you write in the message field of a form.
- Information collected automatically. Standard server and analytics data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and referring page, used to understand how the site is used.
- Information arising from services. Where we operate your systems, we hold configuration and operational data necessary to run them, under the terms of our services agreement.
How we use it
We use personal information to reply to enquiries, prepare quotes, provide and support the services you have engaged, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and improve this website. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Protected health information
Where Tapal handles protected health information on behalf of a covered entity, that handling is governed by the business associate agreement in force between us, not by this policy. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is controlled and logged. Our security cameras are placed at entrances, waiting areas, parking and medication storage, and never in treatment rooms.
Service providers
We use a limited number of third-party providers to host this site, deliver email, run analytics and underpin our telephony platform. They may process personal information on our instructions and are bound to protect it. We do not authorise them to use it for any other purpose.
Retention
Enquiry records are kept for as long as we have a live commercial relationship or a reasonable prospect of one, and thereafter only as long as needed for legal, accounting or audit purposes. Data held under a services agreement is retained and returned or destroyed under the terms of that agreement.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it, and ask to stop receiving communications from us. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. We will honour a verified request made under that Act without charging you for it.
Cookies
This site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will continue to work, though some conveniences may not.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the revised version here and update the date at the top. Material changes affecting clients will also be notified directly.
